Professional Therapy Within a Torah-Observant Framework
Many therapists work primarily from a single model or technique. While these approaches can be valuable, no single framework is the right fit for every person. Each individual arrives with a unique history, personality, family system, strengths, and challenges.
Effective therapy requires more than applying techniques—it requires understanding how all of those pieces fit together.
My goal is to see the whole person and develop an approach that is tailored to their needs, rather than relying on a single formula.

Therapy Rooted in Understanding, Growth, and Real Change
I believe that effective therapy begins with understanding the person, not just the problem.
While many therapeutic approaches focus on specific techniques or interventions, my goal is to understand the deeper patterns, experiences, relationships, and beliefs that shape each individual's life. This allows therapy to be tailored to the person sitting across from me rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some are struggling with anxiety, depression, or anger. Others feel stuck in their relationships, overwhelmed by life's pressures, or weighed down by experiences they haven't been able to move past. Whatever brings you here, my goal is to provide a thoughtful, supportive, and effective space where meaningful change can take place.
As a therapist and member of the frum community, I understand the unique challenges that can arise at the intersection of personal growth, family life, relationships, and religious values. I work with teen boys, yeshiva bochurim, adults, and couples facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and religious guilt or perfectionism.
Understanding the World You Live In
My understanding of the challenges people face is both professional and personal. Before entering the field of therapy, I spent many years immersed in full-time Torah learning, including six years at Yeshivas Mir. I continue to maintain a regular learning schedule and remain deeply connected to the values, language, and experiences that shape the lives of many of the individuals and families I work with.
This background allows me to appreciate the unique dynamics that can arise around faith, growth, marriage, family, community expectations, and personal struggles while approaching each individual with curiosity, respect, and sensitivity.
I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work and have pursued advanced training in Marriage and Family Therapy, Adolescent Therapy, and Couples Therapy. I completed advanced couples training with Dr. Levitz, and I remain committed to ongoing professional development through advanced coursework, clinical consultation, and participation in professional learning groups that explore both theoretical and practical aspects of psychotherapy.
Beyond the Therapy Office
I am married and the father of six children, thank Gd. Family life continues to be one of my greatest teachers, providing daily opportunities for growth, patience, perspective, and connection.
When time permits, I enjoy rock climbing, traveling, and continuing my own learning. These pursuits help me stay grounded, curious, and engaged—qualities that I believe are essential both in life and in the therapeutic process.
Seeking support takes courage. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feel stuck and want to move forward, therapy can provide a space for greater understanding, growth, and meaningful change.
